About Us

The Yarmouth County Learning Network is a community organization that provides FREE upgrading opportunities to adults in Yarmouth, NS. Our unique programs teach reading, writing, and math skills to adults so they can achieve their high school diploma or CAEC, enhance their literacy and numeracy, or get assistance with dyslexia. 

The Yarmouth County Learning Network has over 20 years of experience working with adults who want to improve their opportunities, achieve financial independence, and increase community involvement.  Whether you are looking to better your reading and writing skills, get your CAEC, or obtain your high school diploma, our qualified instructors will build a personalized program to help you achieve your goals!

E3 Programs

E3 programs provide adult learners who did not achieve their high school diploma with the opportunity to improve their essential skills including communications, math, computer, and other important academic and workplace skills.

CAEC Preparation

The Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) Preparation Program helps adult learners prepare for exams in a small classroom setting, allowing them to achieve high school equivalency and pursue job opportunities or post-secondary education.

In-Home Literacy 

The In-Home Family Literacy and Learning Program offers caregivers of preschool-aged children the chance to learn in their own homes. This program supports early childhood development by providing resources and guidance, helping to build a strong educational foundation.

The Yarmouth County Learning Network primarily serves adults in need of literacy services by offering free upgrading programs that are tailored to the needs, goals, and learning styles of each individual student. We will help you build your skills for success.
